From time to time, I might update the firmware running inside the Vistanome to fix bugs or add new functionality. You'll be able to install this update very simply using the USB connection to the Vistanome.

There is a micro-USB connector on the side of the Vistanome. You will need a cable with micro-USB on one end and then whatever connector your computer has on the other. This will most likely be USB-C or plain-old USB.

When you connect your Vistanome, it boots up doing a "boot dance" that shows a whole bunch of the colors and then one pass of the beat dot bouncing back and forth in the configured color you have selected (using the sysex message, see the How-To page about doing this). It's totally normal and kinda fun!

It's so much faster and considerably less expensive to 3D print the enclosure for the Vistanome than to produce plastic molds and make 1000 of them in one shot. This way I can tweak the design over time and even make custom modifications for you.
